Description of 1988 Mazda RX-7 Convertible |
|
1988 Mazda RX-7 Convertible The Wankel engine is a type of internal combustion engine using an eccentric rotary design to convert pressure into rotating motion. All parts rotate consistently in one direction, as opposed to the common reciprocating piston engine, which has pistons violently changing direction. In contrast to the more common reciprocating pistons designs, the Wankel engine delivers advantages of simplicity, smoothness, compactness, high revolutions per minute, and a high power-to-weight ratio. This Mazda self-described heavy influence from the Porsche 944 for the body design car, only released 5,000 Cabriolet units to the USA. Seen here is Guards Red with gray leather interior, and excellent condition rear glass window convertible top, and a mere consigner stated 2,500 miles a year since birth. Exterior Interior Drivetrain Overall very nice condition RX-7, mechanically sound, cared for, and when you compare it to a 944, less than half the price. One might say more bang for your buck. Classic Auto Mall is a 336,000-square foot classic and special interest automobile showroom, featuring over 150 vehicles for sale with showroom space for up to 1,000 vehicles. A 450 barn find collection is currently also on display. |
