Description of 1991 Mazda MX-5 Miata

Unfortunately. my daily-driver baby 1991 Miata is no longer practical for my needs. I absolutely love this car. and it's a joy to drive. but it needs a new owner now. The car is in perfect condition. mechanically. Engine runs strong (200K is nothing for a Miata). transmission and clutch are smooth as butter. suspension is working great. and the engine sound is unbeatable. The OEM hard top is included and seals perfectly. The soft top is tan with some minor leakage issues. It has some minor modifications. as listed below. Modifications:-Genuine 330mm Nardi Deep Corn Steering Wheel ($315)-Works Bell Short Hub ($200)-Works Bell Rapfix II Quick Release System ($350)-Racing Beat 4:1 Exhaust Header ($450)-Steel Style Bar (Not Roll Bar) ($260)-Sony Xplod Drive-S Selectable Sub Out Radio Some things you should take into consideration with this Miata:-Could use a new paint job. As seen in the pictures. the paint is worn and chipping away in several places. This car is not perfect cosmetically. despite running great. There are several minor dents as well. -Several interior pieces are in need of replacement. These pieces can be found inexpensively at a retailer such as planetmiata. com. -The original driver-side airbag was removed with the stock steering wheel. The airbag was not guaranteed to have functioned anyway. The new steering wheel locks securely into the Japanese-made quick release system with eight ball bearings. with no play at all. The horn is fully functional. -Only the two headrest speakers are currently functional. The other speakers simply need to be wired to the radio correctly to work. -The passenger-side window does not function. The window motor works but it doesn't move the window. This can be fixed with a new door (cheapest and easiest option) or new power window components. -Heat works. but cold air will not until refrigerant is recharged with the newer R-134A Freon. This should be a simple conversion that can be done by any shop. Other than the details listed above. the car is in great condition. This would make a fantastic fun daily-driver (what I used it for). weekend car. project car. or base for a mean track car. Thanks for looking!
