Started restoration to running condition 2020: replaced, gas tank (new factory tank), fuel pump, carburetor (Holley 600 cfm, dual feed, single pumper), power steering pump,Rack and Pinion assembly, MSD 6AL (replaced with MSD Digital 6A), Valve cover gaskets. Goodies include: Aluminum heads, Weiand intake manifold, performance rocker arms, valve train assembly, headers, nice large exhaust dual pipes with really nice rumble. Chevy r speed manual, with 411 posi-trac rear end, rear tires were new when put in storage (dry rot issues??), front tire would need replacing for any serious high speed. Interior in great shape (leather) and paint is super shiny for 88 model. **Minor issues still pending: Oil pressure gauge/sensor not working, still leaking oil or power steering fluid (very small leaks I have not identified origins) Engine compartment dirty and oily from leaks.
