Description of 1991 Mazda Bongo Camper Van 4WD Turbo Diesel Limited |
Here's your chance to own the coolest van in the neighborhood. Actual VIN is SSR8R252792 ebay doesn't accept Japanese Domestic Market vehicle. This van was legally imported under US Federal regulations exempting 25-year or more old vehicles. Everywhere I drive it there's thumbs up all around. And all the while getting between 25 and 35 MPG depending on how you drive. I've owned it for 4-years, and it's never given me even the slightest hint of trouble. Even though this van is a 1991 model, you'd never know it from it's overall condition. The oh so Japanese lace seat back toppers are in great condition. The paint is all glossy, there's no clear coat failure, the van was clearly waxed many times in it's life as there evidence of wax in crevasses here and there. The only issue with the paint or exterior at all is the small dent that happened when it was shipped, and the silver spray paint the shipping company used to try to cover it up. The reliability also belies it's age, it's always started right up, wait for the glow plug light and a quick click of the starter is all it needs to purr to life. Yes, it's an old tech diesel which is one of the best things about it, there's no DEF fluid, there's no complicated injection system with computers and lines and lines of code. It's just simple and pure, and as such completely reliable. With only 31,911 miles (51,355 KM) on the clock, the Bongo has a lot of life left in it to be sure. All the upholstery, carpets, vinyl trim, are in perfect condition, even the lace seat toppers and floor mats, look like new. Overall this is quite the time capsule! There are no leaks, everything works as it should, even the tailgate shocks are strong showing no weakness at all. The Bongo is a great camping vehicle, as it can go places other vans can't, and all the seats fold flat making a great bed, there's curtains all around, just drape something over the front seats for privacy, there's even storage under the seats for food and camping gear to keep the bears away. Here's some of the features: *AC*Massive Power Sunroof*3-row Seating with all seats including front seats folding completely flat*Power Windows*4WD*Alloy Wheels from a Mazda Pickup with Good Year Mud and Snow Tires*Rotating Middle Seat*AM/FM Cassette with Mic Input (Karaoke anyone?)*Privacy curtains all around*Rear Seat Controls for Heat and AC Sunroof Operation Videohttps://youtu.be/PGOlRC-BUac Walk Around Videohttps://youtu.be/nAskEHGen14 Startup and Walk Around with Engine Running Videohttps://youtu.be/neOi2axmgeI Short Driving Videohttps://youtu.be/PuhbNEcFiFU Long Driving Video (Dashcam)https://youtu.be/aTiZSRrQijw |
