Description of 1969 Ford Mustang |
I hate to say it but its just time to move on to something else so my 1969 mustang frame off restore is up for bids!I have had it for 18 months and have loved it. My wife and I went to 16 shows last year and won 15 trophies and most was 1st place. The guy I bought it from was the one that built it and he said he won at every show he put it in. Body is just smooth as can be. Bright blinding blue paint that is one of a kind because it started out as grabber blue but was tweaked some. The Interior is all new pony interior. New stereo that hot wire has never been hooked up because I love to hear the headers. I was told every bolt and nut has been replaced with stainless steal so they don't rust. Top dollar was spent to restore this car and it shows! It only has a little over 4000 miles since rebuild. I guess this must be a boss clone because I do not think they had a 351 boss in 69. Here is just part of the things done to it. 351 ClevelandPorted polished alumimum headsRoller Rockers 2. 19/1. 78 valvescomp cams magnum cam700 Holly dp Edelbrock performer intakeMSD pro billet distributor6 Alignition controlFord racing wires8 quart milodon oil panCoated Hooker HeadersTremec T5 5 speedKing cobra clutch9-inch Ford rear end3. 70 gearsPowertrax locking differentialGrab-a-trax suspension & springsSub frame connectorsBaer 13 inch 4 wheels disc brakes17 inch Billet specialties fast lane wheelsJME Enterprises instrument panel autometer gauges. I just paid 500. 00 to have the paint buffed last week and it is like a mirror!Oh by the way did I mention it pushes 450 hp!The only thing I know that's a negative is no a/c. and once in a while I hear a noise from the engine but had it checked from 2 speed shops and both say no worries. One thinks its the racing roller rockers. But with that being said it sounds great and runs great! It has been adult driven so no hot rodding! (oh maybe a couple times! lol)Now the legal stuff. I must have a non refundable 500. 00 deposit with 3 days of end of auction with paypalThen I want cash with pickup Pick up must be within a week of the end of auctionTitle does a lien which I will pay with part of the sale money and you can go to bank with me. I have tried to be as honest as I can. But I have seen peoples court to many times to not say. THERE IS NO WARRANTY WITH THIS CAR. I didn't get one when I bought it and you are not going to ether . I suggest you see it and drive it BUT no just tire kickers!Any questions ask before end of auctionIt will be up to you to pick up or have shipped at your cost. They don't think there is anything wrong with them they think its just because they are for racing and the racing ones are not as quiet you might be used to. On Apr-03-15 at 18:30:02 PDT. seller added the following information:The classic car insurance company that insured this car appraised it for 40. 00. 00 but don't worry my reserve is not close to that amount.
