Up for sale is my 1991 Miata 1.6 turbo. I have owned the car since 2020, and bought it as a bone stock automatic. Has spent its whole life in New Jersey, I even have the original temp tag from Maple Shade Mazda. Will provide carfax on request. True mileage is unknown, the cluster has been swapped, but would guess around 200k on the chassis. Car does have a built motor HOWEVER I got it from a friend and have no paperwork. Can provide his contact info and the machine shop info on request to a serious buyer. Has been in car running for about 2k miles with no issues, maybe more, I don’t keep track. Makes 270 horsepower, was dynoed in May 2024, have sheet from the shop. Only tuned for Pump 93, can run E85 with small mods if needed. Car was fully stripped and rebuilt in 2020 upon purchase. I have A LOT of pics of the process, and its progress over the years. If it moved, it was replaced. If it could be unbolted, it was probably replaced. Only original parts are the body panels, unibody, and dashboard. Cons: The paint and body is rough. I never got around to making it look nice, and focused solely on mechanicals. There are small dents on the rear quarter by the taillight. Every panel is scraped, scratched, or dinged. It is a 20 footer for sure. Interior was never finished, but not as bad as exterior. Door panels have been upholstered in Star Wars fabric I found at JoAnns (RIP). All sound deadening and insulation removed. No heat or AC or HVAC blower fan. Passenger rocker is rusting in the usual spot. I have endless time into this car. I am only selling to help fund a house purchase. I have almost no space to work on it, and my time is getting more and more limited as well. Sadly, this is the adult and responsible thing to do. This is a turn-key turbo car ready to blast some track days, go sideways with Club Loose, or take you to your fav weekend spot. Maybe do all of it in the same day. All air into the grill will feed through all coolers and exit the hood vents. Temps are stable under load and in traffic. Fan set to turn on at 203f, can be changed through ECU software.
