1987 Mercedes-Benz 190D 2.5 Turbo Sedan 4-Door 2.5L

This Mercedes 190DT wassold on 6/14/15 unfortunately to buyer who could not afford to pay for it.

Mercedes produced the W201 (190) with the 2.5 Turbo Diesel for only one year, 987. Less than 1300 W201 190DTs were produced and only 1169 were sent to United States.

This documented Mercedes had 3 individual families own it andincluded isalmost allreceipts since its delivery at HBL Mercedes in Tysons Corner, A in 11/87. Theoriginal window sticker and manuals are included.

In 2002,this 190DT received the 250KM(155ml) maintenance award from Mercedes Classics Group for its verified service records.

In 2006, ts first only accident reported as a fender bender . This incident is reported in its Carfaxpulled in5/08. That dent remains on fender and will disappear when prepped for repaint.

Since purchasing from family member in 2007, his 190DT was the example of "slow and steady". It was athird vehicle used for errands, chool, nd backup when the unreliable other late model Mercedes were in the shop. All three sons learned to drive safety and slowwith it. Itwas not a sports car, ut it posted great mpg of 36 highway and 26 in town. Most importantly it was and continues to be reliable.

Recent maintenance and replaced items: Replaced 1 of 2 front condenser fans and added 134a for colder AC. Recently replacedtrans linkage micro switch, linkage rods, glow plugs, uel heater, uel lines, iesel fuel pump line seal kit,fuel filters, lternator, attery, erpentine belt, teering damper, elt tensioner, eft tie rod (have new right tierod and centerlink ready to install), all joints,water pump, oolant thermostat, oolant sensor,brake pads, verload relay, ransmission gasket/filter, eadlight covers, opper fuses, ear control arm link, oth motor mounts, ransmission mount, ront struts, inkage bushings, lus regular oil/filter changes using Rotella 15W40, nd added a new K & N Air filter.

Upcoming items: In addition to the condition statement above: Replace the supplied passenger side tie rod, enter link anddo 4w alignment.Reinstall the original 15" alloy wheels with new tires. Current 20560r15 tires on the W203 C Class wheels pictured are not worn butare over 4 years old. There is a spot of rust near each rear jack point plus a rust hole near battery tray. Also the plastic on the dash near the center console needs replacement.
