All original 90,969 mile car with the 4.5 Liter V8, utomatic, /C

Although this is not a “show car;” it is a very nice driver as is. With the European bumper and headlights, nd coded hubcaps. The tires all have a lot of tread.

The interior looks like it came off of the show room floor. The “original” leather dash is beautiful; no cracks at all. No tears or cracks in the seats. All gauges work. The A/C works too. Original factory radio—yes it works too. You can certainly tell this car had a very good life so far. The original car’s color was the green. The car was repainted once; no accidents, ust, r bondo found. The paint is in a driver condition. There are minor “door dings” along the car’s body panels—very typical. They did not paint the car’s engine compartment; still has the original color. The rest of the car was thoroughly painted, ust disappointed they did not do the engine bay. It I was to keep the car; I’d have it stripped and painted back to its original color-just my taste. The hard top (matching blue color) and soft top are in great condition; with no rips or tears. All of the top(s) release catch and mechanisms work properly. It has the rear sun shade flip up. Also installed, ue to the law, s the rear “third brake light.” All lights work properly.

The car does NOT leak any engine or transmission fluid. The engine and transmission are in good working order. There are Mercedes Benz maintenance logs which are stamped up to the 50000 mile maintenance. There are receipts showing a vast amount of work done to the car back in 2002 (will provide all paperwork to the buyer). Also it comes with the antenna “adjustment key”; very rare.

Body and Frame; absolutely no signs of any accident. The floor pans, ocker panels, uarter panels, nd trunk pans are flawless for any signs of damage or rust. The trunk does have a spare tire, ack, nd original tool kit.

The good: 90669 mile original 450 SL you can just get in and enjoy the cruise. It already has the highly sought after “European Bumper and headlights;” so much better then the “American” front end. The interior is amazingly preserved. You don’t have to do be concerned about accidents or rust—nothing. The paint job is decent as a driver. I will provide free transport with an enclosed trailer, would take it to your shipper or your house, f you are not going to drive it away; up to 50 miles from my door step at 91724 zip code.

The bad: they didn’t paint the engine compartment. The engine hoods heat/noise shield should be replaced. The car is not yours (yet.)

Please come and inspect this car, r send your inspector. I’ll make arraignments for it to be lifted during the inspection for a very thorough inspection of the undercarriage.

Please do not waste my time and come out to “kick the tires;” no, don’t need your help to sell.
