The 1976 Mercedes SL 450 is part of a series of Mercedes two-seater sports car that were made for well over a decade. They are all truly well made and because they are Mercedes they are extremely dependable and certainly good looking and most come with the two top option.

The car that is for sale in this auction, e are very pleased to offer because it is offered by the ORIGINAL OWNERS and the reserve is low and it is still a fabulous Mercedes and it has both tops. The seller tells us that most of the paint and interior is original. It is the original color with automatic transmission, ower steering, ower brakes, actory air conditioning, pgraded radio and bench seat was converted to jump seats.

The car was driven on a regular basis only in the summer and stored in the winter. The couple stopped driving the car about two years ago. The seller's have provided many photos so that you can see the condition of the car and more photos are available in a Photobucket album.

You can see that there are some dings but the car is still very presentable and the interior also has some wear that is typical of a car this age. The seller says the chrome still looks good. The floor mats were personalized with the seller's initials. It is not known if the air is currently blowing cold. We think that this has to be the favorite color scheme for most collectors.

The good news is that this is a great car for somebody looking to get into the collector car hobby because of the low reserve. It does carry all the ambiance of a Mercedes and a sports car. Even today driving down the street it does not look dated. This is a car that you can bid to win on and you can feel that you got much more value then the money that you spent. We are happy to contact an insured, nclosed carrier to provide a shipping quote but ultimately the shipping is the buyer's choice and responsibility.
