This 1986 Mercedes 500 SL was quite a machine in her day but several years ago, started the process of restoring her and then life got in the way and I have never had the time or drive to continue so it is time for her to find a new home that will complete the restoration. She will be 30 years old next year so with the right owner who can give her the time and attention she needs she could fetch well over 20K (just take a look at some of the other 500SL's here on EBAY). I started the restoration right after I had a minor fender bender in the right rear quarter panel and ended up having the complete rear end replaced. The hard top is in good shape and I also had a new soft top put on. The Mercedes ran fantastic before I stared the restoration but has not been started since so I suspect the lines will need to be cleaned before any attempts to start the engine should take place. The car will need to be picked up or shipped from Springtown, X. This is the buyers responsibility. This car is for someone that has the time to fix her up!!
