Description of 1956 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series |
This 1956 Mercedes Benz was once owned by the famous Arkansas Senator J.W. Fulbright. This car is a survivor and I was only going to repair brakes and gas tank and drive as is. I have Senator Fulbrights U.S. senate parking pass that expires June 30 1957 That was found under back seat. This car needs to be inspected by the interested party before purchase as it is in my shop on a lift and can be viewed hear in Tulsa with a appointment. Car has rust in sub frame (As most do) and a rust hole in firewall. Body is solid without dents. Cracked windshield. Headliner is toast. This car retains all its original parts. Engine runs great. Title clear and tag up to date. 70,000 miles on odometer. I will not sell car until interested party examines and decides this piece of history is for them!! Please feel free to call me at 918 - 505-8687 for any questions regarding this vehicle. This is the only picture I have at the moment. I would like this car to be preserved in the memory J.W. Fulbright Senator of Arkansas. |
