| Up for auction is a rare 1978 moss green 450sl. I'm told the Moss Green was a European color. This SL has a noisy lifter but drives strong and has good oil pressure. The car does have some rust. The dash pad is cracked and the seats will need repair. 3 years ago the front end was rebuilt and the transmission was replaced and the car has not been driven 500 miles since. This car has a wooden Nardi steering with with the gold inlay but the gold is almost gone. It has a nice set of Remotec wheel that are stunning. I also have 4 original bundt wheels. This is a great example to restore. |
