This was the most expensive car in Mercedes lineup and was sold to governments for their presidents. kings. Pope John XXIII had one. and other wealthy industrialists. This particular car body number 13 has been on the estate of the original industrialist owner since new. It is in excellent original condition having only 29. 00 miles and ready to be shown in the survivor class at Pebble Beach. The 300SL Gullwing and Roadster were the only other cars that shared a similar fuel injected 300 motor.
