Up for sale is this absolutely stunning 1985 Mercedes 300TD Wagon. This late model W123 stands alone when your'e talking about 300TD wagons on the market. Over the last 5 years, his 300TD has received a $35,000 mechanical and cosmetic restoration. This 300TD was bought by the previous owner in 2002 out of Texas. It was a rust free car, ut it had not been maintained as well as it should have been. The motor and transmission were pulled out and completely rebuilt. The motor was sent down to Florida and rebuilt from top to bottom by Noels. Check out www.Noels.com for some more information. This guy is one of Mercedes top engine builders worldwide! Aside from the motor and transmission, he rear drive axles were replaced, rakes gone through, ontrol arms, all joints, ew Michelin tires (50mi ago), ew chrome wheels, very single piece of exterior chrome was replaced NOS Mercedes parts (accept 1 that is absolutely unobtainable!) The front seats were replaced, uropean leather steering wheel was installed, ll new NOS carpet kit installed, uropean front skid plates installed, B oem battery, tc, tc. Also the wagon received a proper BARE METAL PAINT JOB which cost over $12,000. This 300TD is clean, traight, nd ready to go anywhere! The chassis has just about 200k on it, hile the motor and transmission were rebuilt 35,000mi ago. At that time the cluster was sent out and the odometer was set back to "0". Please refer to the exact condition of this beautiful 300TD. There are very few blemishes to speak of, nd zero mechanical needs. The only item that we have noticed is the tachometer has stopped working, nd we are looking into it. Comes with loads of spare parts, ar cover, tc, tc.*** Engine build deails from the engine builder 'Turbo and injection pump and injectors re-manufactured in Orlando by Accurate Diesel, he authorized Bosch, arrett shop. The crank is standard and new bearings. Overbore 5 new pistons, 0025" piston clearance exactly. New cam, hain with swaged master link, ails, ensioner, ith Swiss Intervalve brand valves, eck of block and head exquisitely cut minimal ~.004", nd offset key to adjust build cam timing at 2 cam degrees advance, long with all ten integral cast iron valve seats replaced with custom Stellite material valve seats, nd brand new factory guides. All 617 diesels have less than 3% Sun Machine leak downs at build, pinning compression is very close to 400 psi, ue to valve job done with Kwik Way flex drive valve seating, tellite stones, 2,000 rpm, angle valve job with the actual valve seats done with an interference angle of 30 1/4 degrees, unout less than .012 mm, ntake valve clearance increased to .006" between cam and rocker cold, onnecting rods and oil pump checked or replaced, ew water pump, lock bushings replaced for fuel injection drive and more...' *** *** -------------------------------------------------------- Disclaimer: *** Mandatory Doc Fee of $250 must be collected and is not included in the sale price.*** Mandatory deposit is non-refundable.
