This is a 1969 Mercedes 280SL in highly restored condition.This car was originally sold to Mr R.F. Wood in January of 1969. Car has spent its life in in California and then Tennessee . Car comes with automatic transmission, ir conditioning, tops. We have done the following to the car:Engine:Engine removed and resealed, ylinder head rebuilt. Full tune up, ll new drive belts, oses and clamps. New water pump and thermostat, adiator rebuilt. All new motor mounts, irewall pad, iming chain tensioner, ew exhaust.Suspension and undercarriageStrip clean and undercoat undercarriage. New fuel lines, ew Mercedes exhaust. Clean and reassemble rear differential, lean and detail gas tank. New bushings and Bilstein shocks.Brakes:New brake pads and rotors, ew brake lines.Paint process.Car is completely disassembled, indow removed, owl removed, oors, ood, runk removed. Car is then stripped to bare metal and painted using correct Glasurit paint. We painted this car to its original color combination, rilliant Red ( DB # 571) with Silver ( #181) hubcaps and hard top. All new Mercedes seals are used when car is assembled.Interior:All new leather seats, oor panels, ashboard, ick panels and rear quarters. All new German carpets. All materials from GAHH of California. Wood refinished at Madera Concepts. New German canvas soft top.Exterior Chrome and Trim. All chrome or trim is either replaced with new or refinished.This is an excellent opportunity to own a correctly restored 280SL.
