Description of 1970 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series

Hello, e've decided to sell our 1970 Mercedes 250 that was given to us from my grandfathers collection (He owned the car since the early 80's). I don't know much about these cars so I will be as specific as possible. The engine is a 6 cylinder with a dual carburetor setup. The car fires right up and runs great, took it down the road and everything was working fine. The car stopped good and shifted fine, was actually surprised to see how much power the 6 cylinder had! Headlights were working as well as the dash lights. The paint job isn't bad, t still shines really nice but its not a show quality paint job. I'd give it a 6.5/10 and I'm pretty harsh when it comes to judging paint. The body is pretty solid for the most part, know there was a drivers side floor pan put in at some point. There is some rust on the undercarriage, ut it looks like all the major rust was already repaired. There are a couple holes on the inside of the wheel housing on the drivers side, it doesn't look like they would be difficult to fix at all. From what i can see, he body is pretty solid for a 45 year old car. I did do a little bit of polishing on the chrome and it cleaned right up, t shines really nice in the sun. I had brand new tires put on the car as well and had some brake work done to ensure that it was safe to drive.  The interior amazed me the most. The leather on both the seats and the dash looks brand new. The headliner is also very nice as well as the door panels. Its a very comfortable car to sit in when its going down the road. Overall, 'd say this is just a nice driver car that draws a lot of looks and compliments. There are a couple missing things here and there but nothing major. The 250 is a pretty rare model too from what i've been told. The reserve is set low, 'm just looking to free up some space in my garage. I will have a full detail done to the car for the next owner upon purchase. Good luck with the bidding and have a great day!On Nov-10-15 at 17:43:08 PST, eller added the following information:

***Please note that the car is a 4 door and not a coupe, y apologies for the mistake!**
