This vehicle is in great shape. It has spent the majority of its life in Georgia which the body shows. It is getting extremely difficult to find a W114/W115 without major rust issues, ere is that hard to find gem. Please note in the pictures the formation of small corrosion on the passenger side just forward of the front jack point. It is not through, ut I wanted to point it out. Buyer is responsible for vehicle pickup or shipping.Thank you for looking On Nov-23-15 at 14:37:06 PST, eller added the following information:A couple of people have asked about the A/Csystem and from what I understand this can be a costly repair. For those of you who know these cars you will understand better than if youdon't. What I wanted to ensure was the climate controlfunctionality. With the heat (red) lever full open and the blower fan on, he heat is HOT, otter than any newer car I own. The heat comes out of all vents with the exception of the middle vent per design (i readsomewhere this is to keep you awake?). The heat increases anddecreases intemperaturewhen moving the blue and red leversrespectively. When turning the green A/C switch the blower motor shuts down, ou can then hear a click and the A/Ccompressor kicks in and the blower motor comesback to life. From what I understand this is how it is supposed to function. It however does not blow cold and I can assume it is because in needs a charge. If this issue is of greatconcern and enough people have an issue with it I can end the auction, ave the system charged and wait to see if it holds, nd thenre-list it at a later date. I do not mind doing this if this helps the majority decide on the vehicle. |
