Description of 1972 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 350SL

This 107 presents a unique opportunity to acquire a Mercedes-Benz SL that is on the cusp of being a true collector car. The engine has been rebuilt and previous owner indicated 45,000 miles. The restoration was started 8 years ago with new under body plates/pans - no rust known. Interior 90% complete with leather seats repaired / cleaned (no tears), ew carpet, ear seat (a custom seat was built for 2 children).
All chrome checked and replaced or re-chromed.
Hardtop in excellent condition / soft-top probably needs replaced
The car has been on blocks for 8 years and gas tank needs drained & cleaned and gas lines need cleaning.
Nothing done on exterior yet - body is in very good condition (one minor ding). Needs new paint.
Have over $4,000 in restoration costs so far.
