Selling my 1988 SL: Received regularly scheduled service from DAY ONE to LAST FALL—service record book stamped and dated by Mercedes authorized dealers and service centers.

—Bumper Rubber — very good, o gashes
—Stainless Bumper Tops — very good, minor shallow dings [see photos]
—Seats, ead rests and center armrest- newly upholstered in PREMIUM quality genuine leather due to minor cracks in original, uperb profession installation[see photos]
—Chocolate brown soft top — excellent, s new, rystal clear plastic, bsolutely tight when all of the top levers are fastened [photo shows when top was loosely opened, o levers tightened] Also please note that the vinyl binding surrounding the clear plastic windows has no cracks anywhere, s soft and flexible!
—Original radio was upgraded with Sony Radio/CD
—Headlights and taillights — clear and shiny, o cracks
—Original carpets —mint, lways covered
—NEW highest quality multi-colored COCO mats covering original factory carpet -colorful and beautiful!
—Trunk carpet -very good, ome cracks in binding [see photo] no stains,but some tiny marks

Grille chrome is excellent. Front air dam perfect. License plate mount perfect, o dents.
All rubber bumpers are excellent, o scrapes or chunks missing.
Rear SS bumper very nice, o dents. Trunk handle is perfect, o rust or pitting.
Wheels are straight, o curb rash. Tires are new.
All plastic lenses smooth and shiny.
Two small dimples on front bumper.
Engine kept very clean.
New underhood pad.
Low original mileage verified by routine maintenance stamps in log book, ervice right up to date.
Fantastic interior, xpertly installed correct new leather.
Original factory carpets are like new, lways protected.
Both door jambs clean and buffed.
Door sill SS metal trim near mint, ree of dents or scrapes. Sill vinyl covers very nice, ne small piece [1/2 inch] missing on driver's side.
Both door panels excellent.
As- new chocolate brown cloth soft top with virtually perfect clear tight window when all levers are tightened.
Excellent factory tools. Original jack in place also mint. Inside of pouc, s can be see, loth lining is deteriorating. Outside is near perfect.
Beautiful highest quality COCO MATS cover the factory original carpets.
Cracks in lower wood console, eeds refinish or replacement.
New clear pouch holds all original books and factory metal data plate.
Clean rust-free spare compartment and perfect original wheel and Michelin tire.
All four matching tires as new.
