Description of 1994 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class convertible

very nice 94 SL 600, ew oil, lugs, ir filters. Tires excellent. Someone put AMG emblem and wheels on car but it isn't an actual AMG. It has almost 96k miles, o leaks and doesn't use oil. The car handles extremely well and runs very, ery strong! Very fun car. The car has been upgraded with new wiring harness and had the body throttle body's harness replaced. I invested over $3000. in upgrade, eceipts available. DON'T buy ANY 93-95 Mercedes Unless they have done this repair. The insulation in wires was faulty and did not last but a few years. If it hasn't been done and wires touch your car will go in limp mode and check engine light will come on. Also, lmost instantly it blows up your E-gas Module which plugs into computer system. You will never find a used one because they all are bad because people send their cars to the junk yard when wiring harness goes. You can still get one from the factory- for $6000. plus you will have to do the wiring upgrade for an extra $3000. This is the only issue with these cars. The car is in overall good shape, he front air dam has tapped a curb or two, he drivers seat has a little hole on the bolster where u get in, nd the leather headliner of hardtop is sagging. Windows are all good, /c climate control works well, ransmission shifts perfect. Just a great, un little car for the money. It was well over 120k new. We just don't drive it. My mechanic told me another client of his put on a flowmaster muffler and the car sounds like a Lamborghini. It would be nice to hear the v-12 389 horsepower in action.
