i was approached by a gentleman while towing a Mercedes home for my son and grandson. He mentioned that he had two in a barn in Georgia that had been stored for over 30 years. I bought them thinking I would restore another one (I have a 56 pictured at end of photos). Time has come to let someone with more energy take it on. This car is solid-surface rust underneath. Body is solid and straight with no OBVIOUS previous damage. Interior is clean-no rips in upholstery or headliner. Flaky enamel paint over original medium blue. Car needs paint, rakes completely redone, uel system overhauled and engine tuned-it turns over freely. Engine was completely rebuilt in 1973 and the car taken off the road in 1979. All the machine work was documented in a folder that goes with car as well as numerous other records. Only missing item is the radio. Four new tires. I also have an running engine from a 58 220s (twin carb) w functioning transmission that I will include at buy it now price. Car will have to be towed. I can assist in international shipping
