I am listing my clients 1972 Mercedes- Benz 350 SL Color code: 568 "Signal red" with 88,553 original miles for sale. He has owned the vehicle since April of 1986. This vehicle has been meticulously maintained. I have, in hand, receipts dating back 25+ years until now. The vehicle has been loved and cared for by an enthusiast for its entire life. Two-owner car with no accidents. Included in the sale will be the original radio head unit (not installed), owners manual, soft top (needs repair), and hard top installed. All color matched hub caps are on the vehicle in good condition. Leather interior is in great condition with no rips. Original floor mats are in the car. . Engine runs strong with no issues or misfires. Exhaust sounds great and healthy. Windshield has no chips or cracks.The vehicle is not perfect but it will make for a great weekend vehicle or addition to a collection. Turn key, needs only cosmetic attention. There are a few flaws known. i have included photos of them in this listing. The paint has chips throughout the body, due to usual wear and tear for the year. Interior areas with starting to disintegrate due to foam cracking. Passenger headrest is installed but has weak re-enforcement, one of the stands is missing for it (no picture of this). Some seepage but no leaks around valve covers found from inspection. The vehicle is being sold as is. Buyer will beresponsible for shipping or pick up.
