1980 Mercedes Benz SL Class 280 SLC 107 EUROPEAN MODEL SPORT COUPE CLASSIC RARE These were the top of the line Mercedes Benzes when they came out. The SLCs were also limited-production Mercedes Benzes Only very few of these were made. Only about 1000 of these were produced in 1980 This model was discontinued after 1981 Rare Original Mercedes Rear Spoiler. These were installed by Mercedes in 1980 for these 280 SLCs Has the rare and highly sought after European Bumpers. Original color paint outside. Original Mercedes Benz interior. Looks like Blue Leather Upholstery. Seats are in decent shape as you can see. Steering Wheel and Gear Shift Knob are by NARDI and is made of wood and steel. Original Mercedes Factory Wheels, 5 including spare. Has also grey cloth seat covers in front and back. This is a 4 or 5 passenger Mercedes Benz Coupe. The in-line 6 engines used in these cars are some of the BEST engines Mercedes Benz ever made This has automatic transmission. SLC 107 022 12 Has Clear Title. Has an alarm system installed by seller. Has LoJack installed; its battery need replaced. Mileage shown is approximate, the Dash speedometer had been turning over fast in the past year. Hence, the 132,000 miles is a little too high. The Dash Speedometer is electronic and needs fixing. Had been driving the car until 6 (six) months ago. Selling because of physical ailment. Car is 36 years old, has wear and tear, needs paint and some work, has some rust, ac needs fixing. Dash board has some cracks due to the weather conditions over the years. Two smaller side moldings for the fenders are in the trunk, one is brand new. Was planning on installing them after repainting, but haven't gotten around to it. Owned it for over the past 23 years.
