Vintage 1968 Mercedes Benz 280SE (First S-Class Mercedes imported into the United States). Car went through a body restoration in 1993. Car runs and drives fine for a Sunday driver. It is a great candidate to go through another restoration to be a true collectible. Lots of previous repair receipts and pictures of restoration in 1993. Car is not perfect, does need attention to some minor repairs. Bought as gift to go through full restoration but changed mind. Vehicle is also listed locally and may be sold.
I added a video just taking on June 3rd traveling on highway in Dallas going 60-65 mph. The car cruises still well at 80 mph without issues. https://youth.be/fQSS4UdgLho Car does need brake hydraulics look at as the car brakes hard. Right rear door handle needs reattaching. Front drivers side power window regulator needs to be addressed, window does go up and down but needs some manual assistance. Sun roof switch is wearing out. Sun roof opens and closes but the switch needs toggling. The heating and defrost control slide levers need to be replaced. Driver side seat is tearing at top of seat. All other seats are in good condition without tears or wear marks.
