Description of 1976 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class

Here is a good restoration/project classic car. This car can be a daily driver again but is currently a RESTORATION/PROJECT CAR. There is some rust and rot on the rear quarter panel and there are signs of rust coming through on the front fender as well. This car ran and was driven around the yard last month until the fuel line broke a week ago. Prior to that it sat in the garage for a few years. This is not a perfect car and can not be driven home as it is. It must be towed and worked on to be a daily driver again. The engine runs and idles smooth once it warms up. It does NOT smoke, skip or rattle. The automatic transmission also shifts fine. The interior is pretty good for its age but the seats need repair or a new set of seat covers. The carpets are good and the roof is nice and all glass and plastic windows are clear. All the lenses are there but there is one orange marker in the front bumper that has a cracked lens. It was damaged when the tow truck hooked on to it. There is no hard top, only a soft top.

We have tried to describe the car as best as we can. keep in mind it is a 1976 and is a restoration project.
The only thing we ask is if you bid please be sure you can pay for the car and pick it up. We do not want to report anyone for nonpaying bidders. It is also not fair to both bidders that are serious and us as well. I'm sure everyone's time is valuable .
We expect a $200 non refundable deposit at the close of auction and no later than 24 hours. We expect you to contact us to make arrangements for pick up and we would like to have it picked up within a weeks time or we have to add storage fees.
