I bought the Car in 2012, dealers personal driver, Assay Auto, Utah, previous car owner Nevada. prior shipping to Texas, Car serviced by Kapp European Auto, Oram UT, front seal and Hydramatic hose leak, smaller matters. car been in lock up storage sinceIntended to ship back to Australia, Motor Vehicles subject to import restriction, must be manufactured prior to January 1988.
has quite a extensive service record [book]. complete Spark Wire Harness replacement [that did hurt [$] 2013. replacing the Fan Clutch, mechanic advised the Water Pump Bearings showing wear, compared to labor costs, the replacement costs of the Pump, also Radiator, where justified. there are no known leaks.front tires ca 2 years, 1800mi, rear tires 4 years. 7000mi. seats are re upholsterd, MB MOE, Leather. rear rag top section new, old one windows starting to crack. new front section comes with the car. not fitted. the present one is still in good shape.tonneau cover cylinders replaced last year, also the Rag Top Computer refurbished, life time warranty, strictly, do not jump start. Convertible Top operates great.there is a Video on youtube 'Harris Garage'. quite a informative coverage of this Model.currently known faults:temperatureNeedle will be moving erratically to the top, this appeared after I had the lights replaced in the instrument cluster, MB service in Austin, suspected connection fault, [temp sensor].Radio, in service, faulty volume control, Hydramatic Level valve developed a small leakage, has been removed to be refurbished.be replaced early week of 29th August.at some stage, the gear selector bushing would needreplacing, just normal wear part.it is a fun driving car, and a buzz watching he rag top up-down.
