Classic ready for your pleasure

This is my original eBay car and started my purchase of many eBay cars. I have owned my W126 since 2004 and it is time to move on (the driveway is overflowing).

This is the second evolution of the “S” or special class. In 1989 the 420SEL was the car of the year. It is a true treat to drive. We have nicknamed her our traveling bedroom. You will not find a smoother ride. This car has been to Maine and Georgia without issue.

This is a chance to own a classic at a bargain price.

First the good news:

Ø There has never been a smoker in this car.

Ø It is mechanically sound. All regular maintenance was completed. My Mercedes specialist reviewed the car.

His only mechanical advice is to change the 2 fuel filters.

Ø Some of the major replacements include a new catalytic converter and exhaust system,

Ø The tires have more than 50% tread.

Ø The interior is in excellent condition except for the two notes below.

Ø Everything works. The extra-large power sun roof, the pneumatic locks, the alarm system,

the radio and the power windows all function.

Ø It is all original parts with the exception of the radio.

I will provide the original radio and a second original replacement with the purchase.

Ø It comes with 2 keys and all the original manuals.

Now the other factors:

Ø The driver’s seat has the normal wear for this model. See picture.

Ø There is a small crack in the dash. See picture.

Ø There is fading in the paint. The most notable areas are the hood, roof and trunk lid. See pictures.

Ø There is a small dent in the grill. See picture.

ØThe air conditioning is weak and probably needs a recharge.
