Description of 1984 Mercedes-Benz 200-Series 240TD Wagon |
Classic 1984 Mercedes Benz 240TD Wagon Euro Edition (These were not made for USA Market) This car is for the Classic Mercedes Lover, rare euro edition 240TD with manual transmission. I bought the car from a private seller in Beverly Hills, CA who bought the car from Mercedes Motoring in Glendale, CA. I've had the car for 3 years, loving every minute of it cruising up the coast for a surf every weekend. - Black Interior- AC: Compressor is charges and works, switch has electrical short in the dash that needs to be fixed- Rare Luggage Net + Luggage cover- Manual Sun Roof- Bench seat the folds down flat allowing for ample space- Clean exterior and interior- CD Player w/ two front speaker, USB plugin + aux- Clean Title- New Tires- Runs great; could use a tune up, etc Title says 1982, was set when I bought it. However the manufacturer plate on door panel says 1984. Vin numbers match, think it was a mistake by previous owner. (see photos) Had the engine replaced with a 240D from a sedan that I bought that had 178K miles on it. Car has been sitting in covered parking structure for the past 6 months with limited use. This is my second car, I also have a 240D sedan that is automatic and more convenient for me to drive as daily driver. Have 2 cars and paying for parking in Downtown LA is no longer feasible for my lifestyle. Really fun car for someone who can appreciate the aesthetics of this era. I love this car and am going to miss it dearly! VIN WDB12318310020323 |
