Description of 1974 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Original

Beautiful 1974 Mercedes 450 SL with 2 tops & Wind Deflector

One of the nicest ORIGINAL 450SLs in the U.S. Original paint, flawless chrome, beautiful interior. Does not get any better!

Same owner for 15 years. Always garaged and properly maintained. Original except for radio (original in trunk). Never wrecked, rust free, runs great. New front tires, front alignment and belts. Too old for smog check in California.

Driven daily except when it rains and it rarely rains on the Central California coast. It has hard top and soft top, and I just put on the hard top for the first time in about 4 years. Air conditioner works well. The wind deflector minimizes the wind and makes driving at highway speeds comfortable with the top down.

We bought it in 2001, gave it to our son for returning from the Iraqi war, and he gave it back to us when he moved to Sacramento.

We are reluctantly selling it because Mopsey and Topsey bought an old 1952 MG to drive to the beach.
