Description of 1992 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series |
I bought this car 6 years ago from an elderly lady who had owned it since it was about 2 years old. I put about 50. 00 miles on it. There are approximately 123. 00 miles on the car now. It is being sold as is. Please ask all questions prior to bidding as there will be no returns. The below info is based upon my limited knowledge of cars in general. This car has not been inspected by a qualified mechanic. Car starts. runs. and drives. Shows standard wear. dings Cons The front tires need replacing (one has a bulge). the rear passenger window does not go up or down and the door panel is there but not fully attached. You would need parts to put the door completely back together. Radio doesn't work. antenna is stuck up. There is a water leak into the trunk. Pros Starts. runs and drives (it actually drives well in my opinion). Heater works. ac worked last summer but may need a recharge (it's too cold to test it now). all guages (except outside temp) work. leather interior is in good shape and power seats work. sunroof works. all lights work. Car is mechanically sound as far as I know. The only serious problem that I have had with it was there was a coolant leak that was fixed when I used a bottle of the radiator stop leak. I don't know how long that will last for but future attention may be required. Other than that. for the time that I had the car I have only done regular maintenance - oil changes. brakes. and tune up parts. If I was going to keep it I would do a tune up on it. Please ask all questions prior to bidding. $500 deposit due at end of auction. Payment in full due at pickup within 1 week of auction close - cashiers check. |
