1984 Mercedes Benz 300D, pick-up only

Diesel, 4-speed automatic

In about as good of shape as you will find one, this Mercedes-Benz is a 2-owner car! The first owner (a professor of petroleum engineering) bought it off the showroom floor. The dealership's lead mechanic took care of it until he opened his own garage and continued to take care of it until I bought it, brokered through him. Still a certified Mercedes mechanic, he has continued to care for it until I could no longer drive it (do to knee & hip injury). I'm having to face reality & know I will never be able to drive it and it breaks my heart! And, I have no place to keep it out of the weather (for past 2 years).

It has been a dream to drive. Built as only Mercedes could, the doors sound like closing an old refrigerator door. Solid. One very small ding on driver's fender and a little chip in front grille, all from an ice storm (pic). The seats are in good shape, with only one (repairable) worn spot on the driver's side (shown in pic). Dashboard is clean (pic). Original steering wheel in great shape. Electric sunroof was in smooth operating order when I had to stop driving. Driver's side electric window motor replaced last 3 years it was driven, but window has slipped from track. 248000 original miles. 5 alloy wheels. I always had regular maintenance and timely repairs, and oil changes every 2500-2800 miles.
