Dream Car Autohaus is offering for sale this 1983 Mercedes Benz 380 SL. This 380 SL is in the midst of a restoration and is a running driving car. This car is an original beige with brown 2 top car. As you can see the car has been sanded and primed in some areas as well as having all the trim pieces removed to make it ready for paint. I have the grill, rear bumper, headlight casing, side trim, wipers and all other parts removed from the vehicle. The original engine has been removed and replaced with a small black Chevy 350 CU-IN V8. The engine was rebuilt and runs great. The interior dash gauges have been removed and replaced digital and work fine. As you can see from the pictures the interior is in pretty good shape but the wood trim will need to be replaced as will the carpets. The floor are solid as is the trunk pan. There is very minimal surface rust that can be sanded prior to painting the car. I welcome you to see the car in person by appointment only Monday to Friday from 9:00 Am to 5:00 PM.
