HARD TO FIND SPORTSCAR - 1980 Mercedes 450SLC Coupe - 121K MI

Routine Maintenance Needed:

1) Tune up

2) Clean engine compartment

3) Lube and oil change

4) Replace filters

5) Overall check

6) Odometer reads 121,129 and like most Mercedes when they hit 6 digits, the odometer is no longer turning. I bought it from a private owner and had it professionally shipped to me on a flatbed 7 years ago. I've driven it very little. We're both older, we didn't travel, and my office was a mere ten minutes away. My husband gave me a choice.... If I want to remodel part of our house, (and I do) I'll need to sell my beautiful little Mercedes.

Basics are that it is highly reliable and operates extremely well. Moonroof also works perfectly.

SPECIFICS:

1) Spark plug, distributor cap and rotor for ONE cylinder will need to be replaced.

2) General maintenance: Oil and filters should be changed

3) Air conditioner fan is working but it's not blowing cold air.

4) Removable panel and ring trim around ignition on dash needs to be replaced.
(The entire Ignition Control Module was just replaced, and the trim was damaged during replacement process)

5) Replace (or tighten) the relay for the fuel pump.

6) Driver side sun visor needs to be tightened – or replaced (it doesn't want to stay UP)

7) Typical Mercedes rust at edge of rear window

8) Key needs to be duplicated if you want a second key.

9) It's time to replace the windshield wiper blades
