Description of 1986 Mercedes-Benz 500-Series Sl |
| 1986 Mercedes benz 560sl was previously owned by a friends mom who just didn't need it sitting anymore.was in storage for past 3 years. I changed the spark plugs and distributor cap and rotor. Also new plug wires. Runs great with just over 80k miles body is very nice with the exception of a few small rust areas that are at the bottom of the car . Please look at the pictures. Wipers don't work .the wiper Motor runs but sounds like they came unhooked.the hard top is easily removable with the canvas top in the proper location . The canvas top could use repair or replacement. The plastic windows in it are broken and a small tear above the driver side about 4" long. The entire top is under $350 new on eBay. Interior is decent for a 31yr old car. S drivers seat has a hole along the left bottom of the back of the seat. All in all this is a great car to keep for years to come. Drive as is or tinker as you drive and restore to perfection. Also has a Sony radio with MP, and 6x9 speakers.THIS IS A 31YR OLD CAR AND ITS NOT PERFECT!!!!!! |
