Description of 1986 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class Palomino

1986 Mercedes Benz 560SLSignal RedPalomino Interior(Best Color Combination)Absolutely No Paint Work1 OwnerAll Books, Records, Maintenance Log.Extensive Service HistoryImpeccable Condition
If you have been looking for a 560SL, in the best colors of Signal Red with Palomino interior, this car is it. This car has and makes no excuses, come look at it, and tell me why I should take less, and I might consider it, but the car is virtuallyflawless, I very rarely call a car a #1 car, but this is the closest thing to it I have everseen, owning 100's of 560's over the years, I consider myself no expert, but I know enough. Perfect dash and veneers, Palomino seats are still powdery insofar as the seats had covers on them since new. The soft tophardware is beautiful, not a dent or ding or appreciable scratch on this 31 year old time machine.
The car was always serviced at Mercedes Benz and has a complete and linear service history. The timing chain and guides were just replaced, as well as the motor mounts and subframe mounts, as a preventative measure.
This car everything works on, from the original Becker Grand Prix radio to the rheostat for dimming theinterior lights to the antenna and rear defrost on the hard top. Absolutely everything works as itshould on this car and tens of thousands of dollars were spent onprevantative maintenance. The seats show absolutely no wear and this car is a noexcuse car.
Don'twaste your money on a 560 that needs the MANDATORY timing chain replacement due to age, theupper control arms wear out every 30,000 miles and cost $2000 to replace. Buy one with low mileage with everythingdone, in the best and hardest to find color combination.
This car looks as good underneath as it does on top. The cosmoline is still evident on all the suspensioncomponents, I could power wash the underneath and make the car look as if it came off theshowroom floor, but I appreciate originality.
I want $28,500 for the car and you are welcome to have anyone inspect the car, if they can tell me something wrong with the car and why I should take less, I might consider it, but thatwon't happen.
