Up for sale is my 1952 Mercedes 300 cabriolet "D" (Adenauer), vin 18601401900/52, this is very rare car, not too many of those were ever made, only 591 exampels world wide. She has a newly rebuild engine and transmission, starts, runs and stops wery well. All suspensions components and brakes are rebuilt. All electric is in good operating order. According to the data card from 1952, she still has original frame, original body and original engine (numbers match). Car is complete 100% with manual books, original tools and spare wheel. In the dashbord resides the original optional Nurburg radio with speaker. When it's quiet you can hear the clock ticking, (have to wind every few days). All door locks, ignition, fuel door, glovebox, trunk are in good working order. Originaly she was light green (DB229) but many years ago somebody painted her red (no evidence of accidents). Convertible top is old and has some tears but opens and closes with ease, headliner is ok. All windows are fine and work as they should. Car is pretty solid, but of course has some rust spots here and there, mostly in the trunk area. I will include two new spare replacement wheel wells (parts imported from Germany which need to be welded in). All the vin plates are original and in place. This car resided for many many years in the same familly in northen California (black plates included), but now is registered in my name and has a clean Florida title ready for export.
