Description of 1988 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series |
This was my project car and my daily driver. It is still registered and titled It is a 1988 Mercedes Benz 300TE (W124 body). The last of the hand built Mercedes. I have been using the car as my daily driver and updating the worn-out parts as I go. I can no longer give this car the attention it needs. I just bought a convertible! The car is silver with a blue MBTex interior. Many interior pieces have been updated to leather though. The car has 269,676 miles on it. But I have already replaced all parts as they wore out. The car now has a brand new windshield. I have well over the asking price in parts. But I would rather sell the car and parts together to someone who would enjoy driving it. ONE PRICE FOR EVERYTHING!The car is in the upstate of South Carolina, near Greenville/Spartanburg/Asheville A partial list of included spare parts: CLK 16" wheels (installed) plus spares new dash vacuum pods for the hvac system new heating coil new instrument cluster new radio new power antenna new MBQuart speakers front and rear new steering wheel(s) new wood for console new heated rear window Weathertech cargo area liner third seat facelift headlights facelift body cladding facelift rear bumper facelift front bumper (already on the car) facelift door handles (rear ones already installed) new taillights new two-fan cooling fans new rear self-leveling struts new sensing valve for self-leveling new power steering pump new driveshaft new ac drier new throttle body new water pump over a dozen electronic modules for under the hood bin after bin of nuts/bolts/screws/hoses etc. (see photos) I am sure that I have forgotten a lot of parts. But, you get the idea. I would love for this car to go to a new loving home. But it is time for me to move-on. So, all offers will be considered. |
