1987 Mercedes-Benz 126 300 SDL With extensive rehab.I am lising this 1987 300 SDL for a customer of mine.The car was purchased right after 06/16/2010 at the time the car had 154430 miles, it was inspected a list was made and restorationprocedurebegan.The engine and transmission were removed. The transmission was replace just prior to purchase with an Mercedes-Benz Factory exchange unit.The engine was Replaced with a NOS COMPLETE ENGINE, not a short or long block. The radiator and all coolant hoses and clamps were replaced.The front suspension was disassembled, inspected and all overhauled as necessary, brake lines, rotors, Calipers and pads. new wheel bearings andseals. new shocks, springs and spring perches. Rear suspension was inspected and the followingwas done: New Shocks, springs and spring perches.reseal differential, removed rear halve axles and overhauled as necessary. New Complete exhaust system. fuel tank was inspected and cleaned asnecessary.The body was inspected, stripped and repainted using Glasurit Paint. New rear windshieldseal, new front windshield.The interior was removed and overhauled as necessary .The wheels were completely redone.The car was test driven and purchased on 05/31/2011.
