The body on the car is in pristine condition and was extremely well maintained. The car is finished in its gorgeous original Mercedes color of Signal Red and is in awesome condition for all original. The car is straight as an arrow and looks spectacular. The car has been completely inspected underneath from front to back and is solid as a rock as any collector car should be. The car is riding on the original 15" wheels with the correct Michelin tires that are still in good shape! The windshield is like new with no chips. The black German Cloth soft top is still in great condition with no rips or ware. The hard top has good seals and the headliner is in awesome shape.
The interior is in great shape all around. The dash and door panels are in like new condition. The supple original tan leather seats are all in very good condition and look very nice with no rips or ware lines, which shows the quality of leather used in this car. The carpets are all very nice are not worn or damaged. All dials and controls function as they should, power windows and antenna also are fully functional. Music is crisp and clear and not overwhelming. The sound system definitely adds to the driving experience of this roadster. All lights, gauges switches, and accessories work as they should. This interior is in immaculate condition.
The trunk compartment is clean enough to eat from. The spare tire compartment is clean as a whistle and the original spare tire is present. Original jack is in place and the tool kit is even still in the unopened bag.
Mechanically, this SL runs GREAT! The car starts right up and shifts smooth as silk. It drives as good now as the day it rolled of the lot. The V8engine is surprisingly quick and responsive. It is reliable, easy to fix, and parts are readily available. The car was always regularly serviced by Sun Motor Cars and has been well documented up until 32910 miles.This 560's most recent trip to the dealer in Mid 2015 was for a new fuel pump, fuel system cleaning, new brakes/ brake flush, R12 AC service, engine and transmission mount. Recent inspection upon arrival to AZ yields a clean bill of health. Under the hood is clean as a whistle and looks like new. I just had the oil changed and the car given a once over and its all ready to hit the road with the top dropped! I will put my personal stamp of approval on the mechanical excellence of the car.

All in all, this is one of the cleanest and nicest SL's that I have had the privilege of being associated with. I truly feel it is one of the nicest 560sl's in existence and I will put it next to any of the lower mileage examples and it will hold its own. It has been professionally maintained and truly loved by its previous owner.This Mercedes is a fantastic car for the price and includes every option offered in this car.
