ebay won't accept the VIN, but I can email a carfax for this car if desired. Perhaps I will be able to post the carfax in pictures after listing this car. wdb12604412002316 Ebay won't let me list the VIN as a 1982 because it is not a normal US convention for 1982. So I am listing the car as a 1980. I confirmed with the MB Classic Center that this is in fact a 1982 as the title also says. European specification with: - European headlights - Euro headlight wipers - Vacuum adjust headlights - Euro bumpers - High compression ~230 hp motor (far more powerful than US spec 5.0, and about the same as the 5.6). Seems to really run great. Spins tires from a start in a straight line and accelerates fast. See videos listed below. - Nice leather interior with only one small tear in the driver bolster, a tear, not a hole. - Correctly operating power sunroof - power seats - Power windows all work properly, but right rear is temperamental requiring the down button to be pushed several times while trying to get it to go up. Negatives: - There is rust that should be dealt with, mostly around rear wheels and the front rockers. I am parting a w126 with solid rockers and plan to cut out the metal that might be valuable and include that with this car for the next owner (or if I get to it before it sells, then maybe I will fix it all up myself, but I have to many projects, so this goes up for sale as is). - rear power window as mentioned above - wobbling rear view mirror - failing clear coat on trunk lid and a few small spots on top of the roof Deposit is non-refundable.
