Description of 1987 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 2 door

I am the second owner of this beautiful 1987 Mercedes 560SL and have had it for 25 years.
The car only has original miles. Odometer still working fine. Tires in good shape.Clean carfax.
Car has both tops in great condition. The professionally replaced soft top is recent and cost over $1100 using heavy German canvas as in original. Car had 4k put into it a few years ago for new shocks and rubber mounts, etc. Have maintenance records and all original books and tools.
No rust. Car is the most desirable color combo of bright red with palominointerior. Original owner had the original rims chromed!
I've babied this car but it still needs some minor things and upholstery to make it mint but engine and transmission are in AMAZING condition.With a bit of work this car would be worth 20k+ but husband says it's time to go. Several years ago the 280sl was selling for 25 to 30k and now selling for 150k! This model is definitely going up in value so please keep that in mind when bidding on this beauty.
