This beautiful 560 SL was in the garage of its owner for the past 12 years, a man in his mid 60's and driven only on a few sunny weekends. When he decided to sell he took it to Mercedes specialists and said give it a complete inspection and repair anything that needs repair.A mutual friend told me he was selling it and I jumped at the chance. That was only a few months ago.Since then I bought a 1968250sl. I only have two parking spaces at my condo and have to sell the '88 as I also have an SUV.The seats and top were very nice but the back plastic window had a hole in it and there was a puncture in the passenger seat caused he says by something in a passenger's back pocket. The car was so beautiful that I thought it really deserved to have new seats and a new top, so I had new German OEM leather and the top of line German canvas top installed. That includes the headrests and armrest as well as it came as a package. It smells like a new car. The smell of the leather makes it seem like you are sitting in the showroom. The beautiful paint has one flaw, a tiny stone chip. The carpets look new with flawless nap and fiber. It also has expensive floor mats with 560 in red. Very thick plush and heavy. The dash is crack free.I can't drive it without compliments wherever I go. Bid with confidence. Clean car fax, no accidents. I have 100% feedback.
