For your consideration is a 1983 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 380SL convertible with perfect hard top. I inherited this car from my mother, who hardly drove for the last few years of her life. It has always been kept in a garage so it has no rust. It has very good original paint, chrome, and meticulously kept interior. It has been in our family since 1992 and only had one owner before that. This car is in collectible condition. The price of these in excellent condition are rapidly increasing, nearly doubling in the past four years. They are becoming rare. You want to start with a car that has like new interior and good small details. Many things are really not restorable. Parts are expensive for these cars so you had better start out with a good one. They are built like tanks, however, so they can last a very long time. This one has had all of its service at Tafel Motors, our local Mercedes dealer. They are the best. It starts up quickly and runs reliably and smoothly. It has recently been serviced at Tafel and is ready to drive. This includes all fluids and filters. I did not put new tires on it because you would probably rather choose them. Feel free to ask any questions. I will reply the same day. You will pick up the car or make arrangements to have it shipped and pay any taxes, license and fees as applicable. Thanks for looking.
