Description of 1988 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series 300SEL

Classic W126-Body Style. Third owner. Very Good Shape, both interior & exterior. Has never been in any accidents. Engine is in great shape & one of the easiest MB Engines to work on. All electronics work with the exception of the clock, including power headrests and front-memory seats. Garage kept. I am assuming anyone interested in this MB knows about the longevity of these engines (M103.981). Many new parts in the (4) years of ownership, including: New front and rear brake pads & rotors, new front speed sensors, new front bearings, new guide rod supports, new OVP relay, new heater-blower motor/resistor, new radio antenna, all new torpedo fuses, new distributor cap and rotor, new ignition wires, new spark plugs (the correct plugs for this vehicle...non-resistor type Bosch), new fuel filter & fuel pump, new ignition coil, new crankshaft position sensor, new oxygen sensor, new engine mounts & engine struts, new sliders in windows. All the previous parts installed are either MB or OEM Bosch. New muffler installed-fall of 2016. Just recently had a newer model airflow plate/potentiometer & fuel distributor installed by a Certified MB Mechanic. New headlight window-doors. Vehicle has a newer model -SONY-Radio/CD player installed with Ipod, Pandora, aux connectivity. I also have a spare (working) EZL Ignition Module for this vehicle & a spare MB Fuel Pump Relay, both of which would come with the purchase. No rips or tears in leather. The dash does have some cracks and there is a small amount of rust bubbles on the edge of the front chrome bumper. Car runs and drives exceptionally well, especially on highways. Body is Not Mint/Showroom, but is in extremely good shape for its age. No major dents or scratches. Passed all emission testing with 'flying colors' in Oct 2017, necessary for plating in our state/county. Car is priced well below the NADA, HAGERTY, & KBB recommended pricing for vintage cars. (AVG RECOMMENDED SELLING PRICE- Private party (good shape) - $4950, $6400, $5700, respectively.
