Description of 1979 Mercedes-Benz N1300 -- |
Hello to all eBayers! I have been with eBay for several years and I want to keep my reputation here 100% positive. I am a private collector, who has endless passion for classic cars and trucks. 90% of the vehicles have been rented out to movies commercials or high-class parties. Right now, I'm liquidating my collection since I'm selling my warehouse. Are you an old vehicles connoisseur looking for classic/vintage vehicles without having to pay luxury prices? You are in the right place...! I know that magic feeling when the right quality meets the right price, so I sell my vehicles worldwide at the most reasonable prices. This vehicle has a clear Illinois Title. If you need to get a CA title for this vehicle, I can help you with that for an additional fee. 1979 MERCEDES-BENZ N1300 You are looking at our RARE RARE RARE 1979 Mercedes Benz N1300 with under 21,000 original miles made by Mercedes Benz subsidiary Mevosa in Vitoria, Spain. We've owned this car for almost a year now and it's time to move on to the next one. I guarantee that you will not find another one like this in the US, or maybe even in the world. These N1300's are extremely rare and very well-built vans. It is a rare configuration 9 passenger van and was equipped like this from the factory. This car gets looks no matter where we take it. It gets more attention than the 21 passenger VW Bus that we had. It is very original and in excellent condition. We've maintained it and driven it regularly since our ownership. The car does not have any issues whatsoever and is in great condition. It even has all the original factory stickers and markings. This is really a well-preserved example of a collectors' car. We have the title and it is currently registered in the US. Been driving it to the beach lately on the weekends and it's an absolute pleasure to be in (not a speeding bullet, but could probably tow a building!) I've even located a document that has the original invoice from 1979. I also have the original service book. Mechanical The mechanicals are rock solid on this vehicle. Mileage is under 21,000 and drives without any issues. It's got a 2.0L diesel engine with 59HP and tons of torque coupled with a 4-speed manual transmission. I've had a diesel mechanic look at it and it's in perfect condition, no smoking, etc. Exterior Exterior is in great shape with what appears to be the original color combination. I've looked all over and don't think the car has ever had a color change. All the trims are in almost like new shape and fresh. I believe the Hella Fog lamps are original, but I can't confirm. There is also a sun visor and a cool roof rack that were installed, although I'm not sure if either one is original or not. All the lights, signals, wipers, and handles work perfectly. All door gaps look perfect to me as well. Interior Interior is also in near perfect shape. Seats are pretty much spotless and everything is original. The steering wheel has some minor cracks in the finish, but it hasn't bothered me. It's equipped with a fire extinguisher, curtains and a picnic table for the back. Both side doors open allowing you to walk through. It's really spacious inside with original rubber mats. It even has all the original stickers and labels on the windows and throughout the interior. The low miles and rarity make this a very special van to own. I've personally never seen another one of these, anywhere, let alone in the US. Please note, I want to make sure that you are absolutely satisfied with your purchase. Bid with confidence and if you have any questions that I might not have covered in the description, don't hesitate to ask. You can email me or send me your telephone number and I will give you a call. I have tried my best to describe this vehicle as accurately as I can. All non-paying bidders will be reported to eBay. Disclaimer People have different opinions and expectations of older vehicles. It is your responsibility to personally inspect the vehicle or send a third-party inspector that will perform an inspection to your satisfaction. Remember, this vehicle is from the 1970's, and even though I've tried my best to describe it, it can have some imperfections which I'm not aware of. I'm saying this because I've had a bad experience with a ruthless dealer that tried to extort money from me after the car was inspected and delivered! If you are buying and paying for this classic, please contact your transporter after vehicle is picked up and within 2 hours please give me a positive feedback! This is your chance to own a great classic at a great price! |
