Up for sale is this beautiful 1977 Mercedes 240 D . I purchased the car from the Original owner and my dad has owned it since. Its been a beautiful car to own and truly drives and looks amazing in every way. The original owner was a woman here in St Augustine's Fl She babied this car from day one and always kept it in the garage . With only 62,604 miles this 240 D isn't even broken in. Rare color Combination makes this 240 D one to collect and be enjoyed for a life time. Highly detailed engine compartment and fully serviced and ready to be driven anywhere. The Color is Called Light Ivory and the paint is Stunning. Its very glossy and shows very well. No dent's or scratches or fading . No cracking in the paint. Only a few minor chips that were touched up but nothing to mention. Overall the car show's very well and has beautiful paint. The Undercarriage is very clean and show's no leaks . The chrome on the car is excellent as well. The interior is beautiful. The color is called Tobacco and it's very rich looking and the seats are in excellent condition and very firm when you sit in them. The carpet is like new as is the headliner and door panels The dash is crack free and all the wood is excellent and glossy. There is a stain showing in the rear seat I am having it taken care of so it will be perfect at delivery. Inside the car you will find everything to be working properly. This car was made to drive anywhere and go a million miles. It has manual window's . No cruise No sunroof. It does have the Original becker radio with manual antenna. Climate control switches from heat to ice cold AC. Mechanically she is one of the Best 240 D's out there. Since I bought the car for my dad. He serviced it and detailed it to a high standard. Here is what was done. We removed the valve cover and oil filler cap and polished them. all the lines were removed and repainted . New glow plugs, New valve cover gaske, Ac was Converted to R 134 and its Ice Cold. Brake were inspected and are excellent. New tire, New belts and hoses . Fresh Radiator Flush with new Coolant . Fresh Valve Adjustmen, Fuel injection service with setting the pump to correct specs. Fresh oil change using shell rottella 15/40 and new filters.Suspension was serviced with new Ball joints and tie rods and sway bar links. The suspension is very tight and feels great. When you start the car she idles very smooth. The engine bay is stunning and clearly you can see all the detail that was done. There are no leaks or nothing oily or dirty. This 240 D is not your average one on the road. This car has a Ton of power being a automatic and even with the Ac on she still cruises at 80 mph with ease. If you have followed me over the years you can see the pride we put in our cars. We detail them and service them to a high standard so the new owner can just enjoy the car and be proud to own it.
