Description of 1993 Mercedes-Benz E-Class 300TE Wagon 4 DOORS 3RD ROW SEAT!

Here's your chance to buy a very nice 1993 Mercedes e-class 300TE wagon.If you're looking at this, my guess is that you're already familiar with Mercedes' W124 chassis cars, so I won't bore you with all the hype that many sellers put in their description. I think the best description of the W124 models is that they were built to a standard, not a cost. Even the way the doors close is exceptional. They don't build them this way today.Based on what the seller told me and Carfax, this car spent most of its life with 2 families. One in south Florida, the other in North Carolina. The person I bought the car from purchased it for his daughter from his North Carolina in-laws.This car has the m104 inline six cylinder engine and runs like a dream. The transmission shifts smoothly. Power windows, sunroof, power seats all work perfectly. The Brazilian Brown leather is supple with no rips, tears or cracks. You can tell the prior owners knew how to take care of the leather seats. The carpet has been protected by factory Mercedes Benz floor mats. There's no rust anywhere. I can't imagine why anyone would want to buy a car from a place where the roads are salted during the winter. Rust-free cars are so much better!The car had the self leveling system accumulator replaced and it works properly. The throttle body actuator has been replaced as well. No ASR light or limp home modes.I just changed the oil, installed new oil and air filters, spark plugs and rear brake pads. Front brake pads are about 80%. The Michelin MXV4 Primacy tires have tons of tread. The a/c blows cold. Ever notice how so many used cars need a re-charge?? This car is ready to go!
It's a 25 year old car and is certainly not perfect. The tailgate lift struts are on their last leg, some of the clear coat is starting to peel (see pics), there are a few very small dents here and there, the antenna motor runs but the mast doesn't totally retract. Nothing major.
I've got 6 other cars, three motorcycles, a '65 Chevy C-10 and a Ford 8N tractor. AND I'm moving to a house with only a 3 car garage. Do the math- something's got to go!
Please ask any and all questions BEFORE you bid. I didn't put a Buy It Now on the auction because it rarely ever works. If you're a serious buyer with positive feedback make me a serious offer. I'm open to anything reasonable.
