Description of 1990 Mercedes-Benz 560SEC

Thank you for taking a look at my European Spec 560SEC.
This car is gorgeous inside and out. The Arctic White paint looks superb over the Blue interior.This vehicle was purchased new in Japan and sports extremly rare pre-merger AMG options. These include AMG Aero wheels and an AMG MOMO M38 steering wheel.
This car starts up instantly and runs very smoothly. The transmission engages solidly and shifts smoothly through all gears. It is significantly faster than my 1991 non-euro spec 560SEC. It moves. This car has very low miles for the year (63,767). The European selectable first gear start and higher compression engine in this vehicle is marvelous. The glass Bosch headlamps are in excellent condition. The dash controlled headlamp level works like new. The electronics on this car are in well kept order and there is no battery drain when off.The original warning triangle is a nice plus. All vacuum options work great as well including all 4 locks (both doors, fuel filler door, trunk).
It has the natural fragrance of a well kept older Benz and has no warning lights on the dash. This 560 brakes straight and true. No balance issues, no squeaks, no drama.
This vehicle has all clean fluids and is ready for a drive of any length. Pre purchase inspections are welcomed and encouraged. This car is over 28 years old and is not without flaws. Minor chips on the front of the vehicle are present as are a few other minor cosmetic defects. The air conditioner blows more than cool enough for Washington but will likely need service to be adequate in a hotter climate. The sunroof will not open but I hear the motor running. It does not leak. The headliner is dove grey and could use a steam cleaning. And finally, the seat heaters will require a relay to restore functionality. The vin is pictured (WBD1260451A584527)
