Description of 1987 Mercedes-Benz 190-Series |
1987 Mercedes-Benz 190D 2.5L Diesel This model of the 190D series originally European only came to the United States in 1987 as an experimental variant and was well-loved by most and therefore considered a special model. The Automatic Transmission 2.5L Diesel engine was a powerful alternative to its predecessors in general power and initial picku, as well as fuel economy. Its power windows, power seats, power locks and cruise control provides another level of luxury for a 1987 vehicle as an epic model. I am the second owner of this car and used it moderately to work from time to time as a very reliable automotive. I just don't have time to take care of it the way it deserves. The car air conditioning stopped working a while back and I never had time to get it fixed. Recently the odometer and clock stop working I think due to a disconnection in the instrument panel . The speedometer works perfectly. Some of the power windows, locks and seats are inconsistently working. Cosmetically, the car has some paint erosion and a crack in the front windshield due to a rock impact as seen in the picture (No leaks or issues though). The sunroof looks and works flawlessly and is my favorite on good weather days. The vehicle has almost brand new 100K mileage tires as pictured. The last picture shows the car started sitting in idle with hardly any smoke coming out of the engine signifying a solid engine. The title of the vehicle is clear and is in my name. Let me know if you have any further questions. Happy bidding! |
