Description of 1987 Mercedes-Benz SL-Class 560SL

This car was purchased new by a friend of mine who is now in his mid 90's. He bought it for his wife to drive as a second or even 3rd car. It has been driven most of it's life in Wisconsin summers and in Arizona for winters. It has been in Wisconsin at his farm and has not been used for about the last 8 years...... other than short trips to the market or a summer drive (hard top up). Oil and general maintenance have always been done at Mercedes Benz dealerships in both Wisconsin and Arizona.The top is black, interior grey, exterior silver. The only wear I see is on the front drivers seat and the foam pad under the hood has recently fallen and has yet to be repaired or replaced. I see no rust anywhere. the car is now in Wisconsin but we will assist in shipping if needed.

After speaking with him I found the car has had little use for the last 18 years not 8. His wife passed in 1993 and the car was only used for 8 years after her passing ( on his yearly back and forth from Wis to Azor about 16,000 of the 74,000 miles) then he parked it since about 2001! While in Arizona he had a second four door car and used that car for most of his needed trips so even while in Arizona it sat in the garage. He actually hardly ever took the hard top since 1993! This is an amazing 560sl, I will get better photos on my next visit to his farm. Thx for looking!

the milage for the the 8 years between wisconsin and airzona is 32,000 not 16,000
